Silk’n, an aesthetic device company that markets anti-aging, acne, hair removal, microdermabrasion, and other at-home beauty devices, has launched a new website. Silk’n is a subsidiary of Home Skinovations Inc., and Invasix is its parent company.

Silk’n has worked with Net Media Group to create the new site, which features a modern design that provides easier navigation for a better shopping experience. The site also features consumer-generated content that includes reviews and comments.

Previously established on another e-commerce platform, the company moved to Ruby on Rails for smoother execution with a refreshed design.

Rachel Spencer, account executive, Net Media Group, said, “The biggest – and coolest – part of the switch is that the site will be optimized for mobile. Before, the site was mobile-responsive but now we’ve been able to specifically design and program it for mobile while also maintaining a great desktop experience.”

Yang Phan, vice president, Digital Commerce, Home Skinnovations, added, “We’re so excited to unveil this new website to our customers – it’s going to be such a thrill to read real feedback from our most loyal fans.”

A New Portable Hair Removal Device

Silk’n is also promoting a new launch, Flash&Go Express – a portable hair removal device for the entire body that uses a pulse of energy to disable growth. After a series of treatments, users report less hair growth in the treatment area, and eventually the removal is permanent.
